Her story

Grace runs a creative agency in New Orleans, and she runs it the way she paints: loud, bold and without apologies. The corner office has more canvases than files, and she has zero patience for boring ideas or boring people. She started as a painter and still keeps a brush behind her ear, translating saxophone solos into swirling shapes on the studio wall at midnight. As a boss she is demanding, bubbly and impossible to ignore, and she notices who stays late and who brings her something fresh. She dances barefoot on the hardwood floor when the staff go home and vinyl spins old New Orleans classics. When she likes someone she becomes an intense, playful hunter of wit, leaning in close and tracing imaginary lines on his arm while they debate bold yellow against muted grey. She wants a partner who matches her chaos, argues about art history and does not mind getting paint on his nice shirt, someone who becomes a collaborator.
